Anna Ruby Falls Nature Trip

Anna Ruby Falls, located in the Chattooga Ranger District, flows from Curtis Creek (150') and York Creek (50') and merge to form Smith Creek. These twin falls are reached by a scenic .4 mile interpretive trail that parallels Smith Creek and ends at the base of the falls. The .15 mile Lion's Eye interpretive trail near the visitor center and craft shop is available for persons with visual and physical disabilities. It is one of the most visited waterfalls in North Georgia. There is a small parking fee and amenities include: picnicking, hiking, visitor center and craft shop. If you prefer to stay at a hotel, you can't go wrong with Creekwood Cabins and RV Resort, or the Innsbruck Resort. Helen is also nearby, where you can experience authentic German meals, or traditional southern food.
