Broxton Rocks Nature Trip
Broxton Rocks, located in Douglas, represents nature at its best. This beautiful nature preserve contains a waterfall, caves and rare plant life. Owned by the Nature Conservancy, tours are booked by reservation only. Don't miss an opportunity to witness this South Georgia natural wonder. Visit General Coffee State Park, one of southern Georgia’s best kept secrets known for its interpretation of agricultural history at Heritage Farm. Spend the night camping in the park under the stars or in one of the cottages. If you are looking for something a little less-rustic, stay at the Burnham House, an elegantly decorated 19th century cabin. Stop by the Douglas Area Welcome Center, located in the historic Ashley Slater House, and discover what else Douglas has to offer!
