Become a Dream Pass Partner

What is the Georgia Dream Pass?

Recently revamped and improved, the Dream Pass is the state of Georgia’s exciting “membership rewards” program for tourists. Dream Pass uses web-based, printable coupons to give visitors access to exclusive, limited-time offers and package deals at Georgia hotels and attractions. The program is free for consumers and free to Dream Pass partner businesses.

By taking advantage of Dream Pass offers, travelers are encouraged to stay an extra night, buy an extra ticket or play an extra round while on their Georgia vacation. As a Dream Pass partner, you’ll attract new guests and build customer loyalty.

How will the Dream Pass program help me?

Dream Pass connects your hotel or attraction, regardless of size, with travelers who want something special out of their vacation, something extra. A spa package or a check-in gift for your customer often turns into a longer stay or repeat business – or both.

Whether your attraction is a one-room museum or a world-class golf course, Dream Pass brings together Georgia’s best deals and offers in one easy-to-search website that consumers will return to again and again. You’ll be exposed to more potential customers. And you’ll be able to track your customers through the coupons you receive.

As a Dream Pass partner, you’ll receive promotional materials to display at your business and special status on ExploreGeorgia.org, the official website of the Department of Economic Development. Best of all, there’s no cost to join! The deals that you offer customers are your only investment in the program.

How does the program work?

After a consumer signs up for a free Dream Pass membership on ExploreGeorgia.org, he or she is able to download valuable Dream Pass coupons from the site to use at various hotels and attractions around the state. The traveler presents the coupons to the Dream Pass partner business and receives in return a value-added vacation – whether that means in-room gifts, dollars off overnight stays, or a special package deal.

Dream Pass offers are found exclusively on ExploreGeorgia.org, where they are constantly updated by partner businesses. A variety of new offers will keep consumers returning to the website to browse the latest deals at Georgia hotels and attractions.

Why did the Georgia Department of Economic Development redesign its previous Dream Pass program?

The Tourism Division of the Department of Economic Development develops marketing initiatives that attempt to increase tourism spending in Georgia. The previous Dream Pass program attracted more than 20,000 consumer members in its first year of operation, and, encouraged by that success, the Tourism Division sought to broaden the program to reach even more consumers and more partner businesses. The new Dream Pass program is even easier for consumers to sign up for and use, and it prompts them to return to the ExploreGeorgia.org website to look for more deals at their favorite Georgia attractions.

How do I become a Dream Pass partner? What are the requirements?

Signing up is quick and easy. First, your business must already have an online listing at ExploreGeorgia.org. If you do, you can request an upgrade to Dream Pass partner at ExploreGeorgia.org/PartnerAdmin.

As a partner, you’ll be required to enter special offers and packages of increased value over your other offers. You can create your own Dream Pass coupons through the website. Dream Pass offers can be limited-time offers or long-term deals, but they should generally expire after a year.

Dream Pass status is reserved for attractions and hotels/motels/inns.

What if I don’t have a listing on ExploreGeorgia.org?

If you don’t already have an online listing, it’s easy to set one up. A regional representative from Georgia’s Department of Economic Development can help get you started and provide you support. Representatives are familiar with your geographical area and other businesses like yours. To find the phone number and e-mail address of the representative for your county, go to http://georgia.org/GeorgiaIndustries/Tourism/Pages/RegionalPrograms.aspx.

Why should I create a listing on ExploreGeorgia.org?

An ExploreGeorgia.org listing is permanent and free and allows you to promote your hotel, attraction or event through the state’s official tourism website. Thousands of consumers use the site every day to find events and attractions, search for vacation ideas, and book trips. No other site brings together as many Georgia attractions, hotels and events and has the support of the state.

You own your listing and can update it whenever you want to.

What types of offers are appropriate? Are there any requirements for Dream Pass offers?

Dream Pass offers include a wide range of activities and experiences, which appeals to consumers. Some examples of offers include but are not limited to:

  • Package deals including special overnight rates, dining or spa options, and/or tickets to local attractions
  • Check-in or in-room gifts or amenities such as free bottled water, bottles of wine, gift baskets, bathrobes, flowers, gift certificates and more
  • Family deals (such as buy 2 tickets, get 2 free; kids eat free, etc.)
  • Discounted or upgraded memberships or passes to attractions; discounts on future ticket purchases

How are Dream Pass offers different from other special offers on ExploreGeorgia.org?

Dream Pass offers are exclusive to program members only. These offers are generally more valuable than other offers on ExploreGeorgia.org.

One of the benefits of Dream Pass partnership is that Dream Pass offers are searchable as a group as well as with all the special offers. Dream Pass offers are searchable by (but not available to) non-members, prompting them to join the program to get better deals.

How will Dream Pass be promoted?

Georgia’s Department of Economic Development is committed to increasing state tourism revenue, and therefore advertises its Web site, ExploreGeorgia.org, and the Dream Pass program through television, local and regional magazines, websites, on-site promotions, and social media initiatives such as Facebook and Twitter.
