There’s
family fun for your whole clan at the Annual Blairsville Scottish Festival & Highland Games. Enjoy Bagpipes and Drums, Highland music, dancing and food with a Scottish flair. There's plenty of excitement when athletes compete in traditional Games including caber
toss, putting the stone, and tossing the sheaf.
Watch border collies herd sheep and falcons swoop down on “prey,” Gordon setters hunt game birds and Clann Nan Con recreate the feel of early Scottish settlers in Georgia with their period clothing and weapons.
Bring the kids so they can participate in their own Highland Games. . There is even a 4-hole mini golf course, train ride, face painting, and castle space walk. This and more…all for free!

Directions:
From Atlanta - take I-75 North to I-575 North (toward Canton). I-575 will become GA Hwy 515. Follow GA 515 towards Blairsville. Meeks Park is just before the town of Blairsville, on the right (approximately 20 miles from Blue Ridge). The entrance to Meeks Park is across from North Georgia Technical College.
