The nation's most celebrated professional cook teams and dozens of backyard grillers compete for cash prizes and bragging rights in this Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned State Championship of barbecue. Live entertainment, kid's activities and craft vendors in addition to plenty of traditiona Southern food have made this one of Northwest Georgia's most popular events. All proceeds support the Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter.
