It will be all laughter and pandemonium of the Peter Cottontail variety at Nash Farm on March 26, 2010 (from 5:30 p.m. to sundown) when Henry County Parks & Recreation hosts the Fourth Annual Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt. The FREE evening of fun starts at 5:30 with kids crafts, inflatables, face-painting, and games. There’s a special egg hunt for the little ones (ages 2-5) that begins at 7 p.m., but the older ones will just have to wait until the sun goes down! That’s when thousands of school children will switch on their flashlights and scramble to find more than 30,000 treat-filled eggs scattered on the Park’s lawn in the dark! Kids can have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny for $10 and concessions are available. Bring a flashlight and your Easter basket as we hunt for eggs in the dark!
