The River Street celebration starts before March 17, but be sure to grab a spot on the streets of the Historic District for Savannah's 187th annual St. Patrick's Day parade, with bands and marching groups from all over the country. More than 500,000 visitors are expected to join in on the fun at this annual Savannah celebration.
