Best Time To Visit: Hills & Dales Estate is open year-round. Late March and early April are popular for spring flowers including azaleas. During the summer the herb garden and colorful annuals reach their peak. The historic ginkgos turn a beautiful yellow in autumn. December 3-23 enjoy the Callaway home decorated for the holidays.

What You'll Need for Your Visit: The historic garden has pea gravel paths and numerous steps. We suggest comfortable shoes.

Mr. Gerald Krewer, University of Georgia Extension Horticulturalist with a specialty in fruit crops, will lead an informative workshop on a variety of delicious fruits. Mr. Krewer will empasize raspberries, blueberries and blackberries, and will share exciting information for the novice or expert. Each participant will be given a ( self-fertile ) blackberry bush and informational handout. $25.00, Annual Pass Holders receive a 20% discount.
