Best Time To Visit: Hills & Dales Estate is open year-round. Late March and early April are popular for spring flowers including azaleas. During the summer the herb garden and colorful annuals reach their peak. The historic ginkgos turn a beautiful yellow in autumn. December 3-23 enjoy the Callaway home decorated for the holidays.
What You'll Need for Your Visit: The historic garden has pea gravel paths and numerous steps. We suggest comfortable shoes.
6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2010. University of Georgia icon, Coach Vince Dooley, will introduce his new book: "Dooley's Garden: A Horticultural Journey of a Football Coach". A reception begins at 6:30 p.m. and Coach Dooley will deliver an entertaining lecture. Afterward, he will be available to autograph his new book. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. $10.00 per person, no charge to Annual Pass Holders.
