Best Time To Visit: The Alpharetta History Walk is open dawn - dusk. You'll want to pick up a brochure at the Alpharetta Welcome Center before you embark on the tour. The Welcome Center is open Monday-Friday from 9 am - 5 pm and from 10 am - 4 pm on Saturdays.

What You'll Need for Your Visit: Bring a good pair of walking shoes so you can enjoy all 19 markers. A camera will help you remember your adventure!

The Alpharetta History Walk takes visitors on a tour of 19 historical markers located throughout the city's downtown area. Guests on the tour are invited to pick up a complimentary Alpharetta History Walk brochure at the Alpharetta Welcome Center. The brochure provides all the information needed to self-navigate the markers.

The Alpharetta Welcome Center is located at 178 South Main Street in Suite 200, easily accessible from Exit 9 (Haynes Bridge Road) and Exit 10 (Old Milton Parkway)off Georgia Highway 400, the state's Hospitality Highway.
