Best Time To Visit: The trails are open year-round. The fall is especially beautiful with the changing leaves. Winter affords unobstructed views. Spring is alive with new growth. Summer is just a great time to be outdoors.

The Aska Trails Area is a 17-mile hiking-mountain biking trail system in the National Forest near Deep Gap on Aska Road in Blue Ridge. Trails range from one to 5.5 miles and vary in difficulty. Trails climb to 3,200 feet with views of mountain ridges and descend to the shores of Lake Blue Ridge. A hiker can expect to hike through forested areas with mature hardwoods and thickets of mountain laurel and rhododendron.

    Great trails for Hiking and Biking!

    Never crowded! That would be would be the best way to describe the Aska trail system Whether you through hike Stanley gap or loop the Green Mountain trail. Lots of trail combinations honestly mean you will find something for every level of experience. This area also has well marked and maintained trails. You should check it out.

FROM ATLANTA: I-575 north; turns into Hwy 515. Continue to Blue Ridge and stop at the welcome center for maps and details.
