    A very interesting day trip

This is one of those places you'd never expect to find in the middle of Buckhead. I went with the family to visit the Swan House and visit the museum, and it was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon.

The grounds of the Swan house were beautiful, and our tour guide did an admirable job making the place interesting for kids and adults alike. At the museum, the Civil War and golf exhibits were well done.

Over all, a great trip. Definitely worth the drive to Atlanta.

    Surprising

AHC had far more to offer than I thought. The civil war exhibit was great (much more intriguing than most others I've seen). Loved the exhibition that showcased the development of Atlanta over the last 400 years

    Civil War Exhibit Narrative Terrible

The Civil War exhibit would only please a Yankee. The narrative is the usual politically correct spin line. North good/South bad. The man who donated all this stuff must be turning over in his grave.
