Best Time To Visit: Helen and the Blue Ridge Mountains are enjoyable year round. Winter brings cozy conversation beside the fireplace or in your private jacuzzi or hot tub. Spring brings new life and flowers from March thru May. Daffodils, dogwoods, rhododendrums, mountain laurels and many more add color to the season. Summer is bursting with activities in Helen and the mountains. Tubing the Chattahoochee River, rafting, horseback riding, zip line tours provide great family fun! Hiking and fishing are year round favorites. Fall brings an array of color across the mountainsides. Great for mountain drives, hiking, mountain biking and cycling. You can always enjoy wine tasting at some of the local wineries, shopping and of course sampling the European and local cuisine of the area.

What You'll Need for Your Visit: Just bring yourself and your loved ones for a relaxing getaway! Our vacation rentals provide everything except your food and clothes! There are local grocery stores including the famous Betty's Country Store with premium meat, deli, bakery, fresh produce and anything you might need to test your cooking skills. Bring comfortable clothes and shoes for walking or hiking. Helen is a tourist town and restaurants do not require formal wear.
