This scenic 150-mile autoroute in northwest Georgia tells the story of the Native American Indians who once lived in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.

Here you will find vestiges of three separate and distinct Native American cultures: the pre-historic Mississippian Culture, the Creeks and the Cherokees.

Designated a State Historic Trail by the GA General Assembly in 1988, the trail offers visitors attractions, scenic beauty, shopping, dining and accommodations.
