Horseback riding:

One hour scenic farm ride - this ride takes you deep into the Dillard house pastures, skirting alongside the little Tennessee river. enjoy breathtaking mountain views, and an abundance of natural greenery. the scenic farm ride lasts approximately 50 minutes to an hour. truly a family experience where children and parents can enjoy a relaxing ride together. 

Winter months rides are by reservation only and you must get conformation to assure riding times. the minimum age required for this ride is 6 years old, and costing $40.00 per person.
departure times: 9:00 am, 10:30 am, noon, 1:30pm, 3:00 pm, 4:30 pm.

One hour river ride - this is by far one of the most popular rides we offer. this ride takes you alongside of the Dillard house pasture, then traveling up the middle of the little Tennessee river, and finally making a loop through lush green forest and returning back through the river. about 1/2 of your ride is actually in the water. please call ahead during colder months to make sure this ride is being offered.

The minimum age required for this ride is 10 years old, and costing $45.00 per person. departure times: 9:30 am, 11:00 pm, 1:00 pm, 3:30pm, and 5:00 pm.

1 1/2 hour river ride - this ride takes you deep into the Dillard house pastures, skirting along the outside of the little Tennessee river and then down the middle of the river for an exciting in water riding experience. enjoy breathtaking mountain views, and an abundance of natural greenery. this ride lasts a minimum of 1 1/2 hours taking you on the more adventurous trails that the Dillard house has to offer and allows you views not normally seen by any other means. this is a great way to see all the spectacular views that the Dillard house  is famous for.

The minimum age required for this ride is 10 years old, and costing $60.00 per person.

30 minute ride - for people on the go, with limited time, we offer this ride, giving you a taste of the beautiful scenery dillard house stables has to offer. this quick ride takes you out into the dillard house pastures, allowing you a magnificent view of the beautiful georgia mountains and countryside.

This ride leaves out on an "availability only" schedule on weekends (when we have horses available and not reserved for scheduled rides), and by reservation only to guarantee your ride during the week. please feel free to stop by the stables anytime your in the area, and interested in taking this ride, we will try our best to fit you in. 

The minimum age required for this ride is 6 years old, and costing $25.00 per person.

Children's ring ride
This ride can be parent led, when horses are available.
Minimum age: 3 years. $10 per child

Fly fishing:

Learn to fly - fly fishing casting instruction - $100.00 (1 hr.30 mins.)
let a pro teach you how to cast the line and land your fly with a gentle touch. it's a great sense of accomplishment when you know the fly will land exactly where you want it. Rick Claridad has successfully taught hundreds of students, is the former "classic angler" owner and "Evening at Emory" teacher for over a decade. his specialty is taking the novice and teaching them to cast in the very first lesson.you will learn the proper techniques of fly casting from the start and be able to build on those skills.

Wild Trout Safari - half-day & full day wild trout safari - whatever your skill level, our guided packages are designed to provide you with a great experience!
