Listed on National Registry of Historical Places. Built by a grant from Andrew Carnegie in 1904 as a library. The Laurens County Historical Society renovated the building in 1977 and converted the old library into a museum. The museum is open Tuesday through Friday 1 p.m. to 4:30 pm or by appointment.
