This is also a perfect location for family photographs, particularly during the fall leaf season.

It is available for small group gatherings, lectures and outdoor classes. Please call 770-781-2217 for further information.

Playground: This small playground is provided for the entertainment of our youngest visitors to the mountain. It is located adjacent to the picnic pavilions and offers another opportunity for families with small children to enjoy Sawnee Mountain. Picnic Pavilions: There are 2 picnic pavilions available. Visitor Center Opened March 2008.

    Amazing Facilities and Programs!!

I live in North Fulton county and discovered the Sawnee Mountain Preserve about 5 months ago. They have the most beautiful nature preserve on the mountain, their staff is friendly and helpful, and their educational programs are world class. I am blessed to be able to visit the preserve on a regular basis, but I could definitely see someone from out of town making a trip just to visit this place!
