Tellus Northwest Georgia Science Museum unites under one roof the highly respected collections and programs of the Weinman Mineral Museum and the widely acclaimed hands-on science programs of the Resource Center. Building on the success of these two institutions, Tellus provides the region with a state-of-the-art science museum. The 120 seat digital Planetarium features a variety of astronomy programs. Visit the Fossil Gallery and take a walk through history past millions of years of dinosaurs, reptiles and giant mammals that dominated the land, sea and air before becoming extinct. The Gallery features a full-size replica of a 40-foot T-rex and other dinosaurs.
