This year marks the 25th anniversary for the Big Red Apple Festival here in Cornelia along with the 125th Birthday for the city. To make it a really special celebration, this year will see the addition of a FREE friday night concert on October 12th with a national recording star (Name released soon!). Of course there will be all the usual fun on Saturday, October 13th. Come for the weekend and stay in one of our conveniently located hotels, eat at one of our great local restuarants, enjoy the super FREE concert and come back to town Saturday morning for the kind of fall festivals that create great small town memories.

Activities Saturday will allow you to enjoy some fine entertainment at the depot, browse local artisans and their crafts, drool over beautiful cars at the Key Club Apple Festival Car Show, eat out-of-this-world food from regional food vendors or at our downtown restaurants, let the kids loose in the Kid Zone for some fun, take a hay ride to Chenocetah Fire Tower for spectacular views of Lake Russell and much, much more.
