The Real Squeal BBQ and Music Festival is a Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned event located in Lyons , GA during the second weekend of October.  Amateur teams compete in downtown Lyons on Friday where the public is invited to enjoy great Barbeque and local entertainment.  Bring your lawn chairs and friends for this free event.

Saturday, come to Partin Park to watch the professionals compete in 4 categories -  pork ribs, pork shoulder, chicken and beef brisket for prize money of $15,000.00.  Many of our professional teams participate in a people’s choice event in which you can purchase a block of tickets to taste and judge professional competition Barbeque.  Live music will be in the park all day.

Many other activities take place during the Real Squeal, including children’s activities, face painting, hunting and fishing simulators, an indian artifacts show, and a chainsaw carving competition.
