Crush Fest, a one day event, celebrates the grape harvest of Yonah Mountain Vineyards. Yonah Mountain Vineyards, a privately held 197 acre estate located near Cleveland, GA, were planted with Chardonnay vines in 2007 and Cabernet Sauvignon vines in 2009. Those vines have matured and their grapes will be ready for harvest in late August or early September.
Yonah Mountain Vineyards took its first harvest in 2010 of Chardonnay grapes. 2011 will be the first harvest of the Cabernet Sauvignon. Crush Fest is designed to make the most of this landmark event.
Crush Fest, scheduled for Saturday, September 3 of Labor Day Weekend, will be held at the vineyard. Grape stomping, wagon tours of the vineyard, tours of and barrel samples from Georgia's only wine cave, wine tasting and live music all day will generate the fun and excitement worthy of such an important event in the life cycle of a winery. Local restaurants will offer food pairings and over 20 vendors and craftspeople will be on site.

First Friday is the night when all the merchants at Sautee Village (Yonah Mountain Vineyards, InsideOut Sautee, Elfmade Wooden Toys) stay open late. We offer munchies, fine wine, live music and good company.
