Springtime in Dawson brings the flowers and arts to the area. There are many free activities from which to choose. Children’s area will offer a wildlife zoo with critters from the state parks.
In the Mother’s Day tradition children will be able to pot a plant as a gift to moms. There will be face painting, hair designs and horse back riding available for children of all ages. The Premier arts and crafts booths will offer many garden related themes including jewelry booths, pottery and more. Many vendors offer bedding plants, shrubs, and garden vegetables.
Marcia Chelf, executive director of Dawson County Arts Council, says, “This is one of the best places to get your spring gardening sspring gardening supplies- from flowers and vegetables to tools and products- to make sure your garden is a showpiece.” There will be free live music and vendors offering food and drinks.
