Categories: Race categories include: Open, Female, Mixed, BCS (Breast Cancer Survivors), Collegiate, High School, International, Recreational and Law Firms. We will open a new category which has at least two teams!
Participants: In past years teams have participated from corporate Atlanta and from local organizations, churches, and colleges. A few teams which have participated include: AJC International, AT&T, Troutman Sanders LLP, Holder Construction, The Home Depot, Merrill Lynch, United Commercial Bank, Lanier Canoe & Kayak Club, National Association of Chinese Americans, Georgia Tech, Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, Emory, University of Georgia, Agnes Scott, Reinhardt, and Perimeter College. There are a host of Breast Cancer Survivor (BCS) teams from throughout the United States.
Come and join us for a fun and exciting time as a spectator or as a competitor while enjoying the diversity of the Hong Kong Dragon Boat races. Join the fun on the campus of Brenau University for a Memphis Barbecue Network sanctioned cooking contest. The event literally features many of the South's best bbq teams and local barbecuers. $5 gate fee to support college scholarships. Vendors on site.

Come to the Downtown Square in Gainesville where over 100 artists from Northeast Georgia will be showing their paintings, pottery, jewelry, and other fine arts and crafts on the Square.

Mule Camp Market began years back as a farmer’s curb market near the downtown square. This festival showcases various mountain arts and crafts. Families will enjoy mule rides, live music, great food, petting zoo and other activities.
