Kids Fishing Rodeo at Vogel

Wolf Creek will be stocked with plenty of trout to be tempted by anglers 12 and younger. Prizes will be given to the lucky ticket holders. Adults must be accompanied with the children that will be fishing at the registration tent prior to fishing. A limited amount of fishing poles will be provided.
Independence Day at Vogel

Come to one of our nation's oldest state parks as we celebrate our independence with a flag-raising ceremony, bicycle parade, pedal boat races, sandcastle building competition, watermelon eating, sack races, egg tosses and greased pole climbing. $5 parking. 706-745-2628.
Mountain Music and Arts & Craft Festival at Vogel

Christmas Tree Lighting at Vogel State Park

Join us for the tree lighting, caroling, hayrides, Santa Claus visit, bonfires, hot chocolate and cider. Also help support the "Give A Gift Toy Drive" sponsored by the Union County Sheriff's Department, bring an unwrapped gift for kids of 0-12 years of age. No toy guns, knives or dangerous items.
