The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service along with Friends of Warm Springs National Fish Hatchery join forces to show residents why more and more families are participating in fishing. This popular event provides a chance for children to experience the natural world of the hatchery and the thrill of fishing. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who agrees to teach the child how to fish and not actively fish. All children must be registered to participate in fishing. Each child should bring their own pole, stringer, and bait (for catfish). For the event, each child will be allowed to keep five fish on their one stringer. A time limit will be enforced for each group fishing.
