Featuring: Dr. Rich DiNardo is Professor for National Security Affairs at the U.S. Marine Corps Command and Staff College and co-editor of James Longstreet: The Man, The Soldier, The Controversy. Richard Pilcher, A charter member and President of The Longstreet Society, will speak about the Piedmont Hotel and some famous people who visited there. Dr. William Garrett Piston teaches history at Missouri State University and specializes in American military history and the Civil War and Reconstruction. He is the author of Lee's Tarnished Lieutenant: James Longstreet and His Place in Southern History. Jack Travis has written historical articles for The Civil War News, Artilleryman Magazine and the Confederate Veteran and founded Alexander's Battalion of Artillery attached to Longstreet's Corps with 25 guns and 400 re-enactors.

The hotel sleeping room rate for seminar attendees is $75 a day if reserved by September 8, 2010. The sleeping room costs are not included in the seminar fees.
