Beginning at dusk (around 6 p.m.) at the Cassville Historical Society will commemorate the 147th anniversary of the burning of Cassville at the Confederate Cemetery. The illuminated tour highlights the the 300 Confederate gravesites and the burial site of CSA Gen. William T. Wofford, the Bartow County General who surrendured the last contingent of Confederate troops in Georgia. Relax with the Cassville Historical Society around a bonfire with hot dogs & roasted marshmallows.
