Every second Saturday in February a commemorative celebration is held at 2 pm to honor the anniversary of the Battle of Kettle Creek at the battle ground. Other events are held during this weekend in Washington and Wilkes County to highlight Patriotic activites and intoduce and visitors to the lifestyles of our colonial ancestors.
