SAM Shortline Excursion Train travels through southwest Georgia in
air-conditioned 1949 vintage cars mixing a taste of the old rural south
with todays excitement. This special excursion will make a stop in Americus for guests to visit "Arts in Rylander Park." This family-oriented arts festival includes a performances by the Americus-Sumter High School singers and GSW Jazz Band, the Kiwanis's Childrens' Art Showcase, Piccadilli Puppets, pottery, glass blowing and stilt walkers.
