The Chamber Players of the South, under the direction of Sam Baltzer, is a 25 member professional chamber orchestra. The "American Classics" concert will feature Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue & Copland's Appalachian Spring. Tickets are $20, $18 for GEM & HAC members, and $10 for students 18 and under. The concert is sponsored by the Harris Arts Center & GEM Theatre.

Sierra became known in bluegrass circles for her skill on guitar & mandolin at age 8 and performed on the Grand Ole Opry with Alison Krauss at 11. As a teenager, she joined the Great High Mountain tour. Berklee gave her their most prestigious award. She released her debut album, Secrets, in 2008.
