Best Time To Visit: Mornings and Evenings are the best time to come to Uncle Shuck's to beat the heat in September and October. If you come with a group, you can book a special time.
What You'll Need for Your Visit: - wear comfortable shoes - bring sunscreen and a hat if you visit during the day - bring your sense of adventure - bring a camera - no flashlights; no pets - food and beverage are available on site; clean rest rooms are provided
Foster Family Day at the Dawson County agritourism complex will be Saturday, September 10. The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., allowing for all families to enjoy the maze trails, hayride and evening bonfire area. More than 150 patrons are expected to participate, double the number from last year. The event is sponsored by the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office, which offers a wide array of community-based programs.
