A 90-minute tour with the museum's director discussing the maintenance and preservation of the award winning 1820s historic house museum.

East Side Preservation Tour will begin and end at the Davenport House, which when threatened with demolition in 1955 began the organized historic preservation movement and the founding of the Historic Savannah Foundation.

A 90-minute experience learning about the Davenport House's museum objects, its furnishings plan and the recent award-winning restoration

Weather permitting, tea will be taken in the courtyard garden, which as a Trustees Garden Club program in 1975.
