The second-largest art museum in the state, housing contemporary Western American art, a Presidential gallery that has an original signed letter by each President, a civil war art collection, two original stagecoaches, movie poster collection, cafe, store and Sagebrush Ranch for children.
This 80,000-square foot museum in Cartersville, Ga. opened in August 2003, with main galleries featuring contemporary Western art. Other galleries showcase Civil War art, Presidential photographs and letters, Western movie posters, and Western illustration. Sagebrush Ranch is an interactive gallery where children of all ages can learn about art and Western America. The Museum's Special Exhibit Gallery hosts three to five temporary exhibits per year.
