The GSU Museum showcases South Georgia's cultural and natural history,
and also offers an exciting changing exhibit schedule. The gallery
showcases a 26-foot Mosasaur - the "T-rex of the Sea" as well as Georgiacetus Vogtlensis, a 42 million year old whale specimen. Museum hours are weekdays 9-5:00 and weekends 2-5:00. Admission is free. Self-guided tours take 1-2 hours. Gift shop on premises.
