Callaway Gardens is an award-winning, 13,000-acre gardens, resort and preserve nestled in the southernmost foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, in Pine Mountain, Georgia. In addition to four types of accommodations, 10 restaurants and plenty of shopping, guests at this family-friendly getaway enjoy lots to see and do. The Virginia Hand Callaway Discovery Center, Birds of Prey shows, Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center, John A. Sibley Horticultural Center, Mr. Cason's Vegetable Garden, Callaway Brothers Azalea Bowl, Overlook Garden and miles of nature trails showcase the beauty of nature. In November 2006, Callaway Gardens opened the beautiful Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens featuring 150 rooms all featuring luxurious features and balconies to the outdoors. The 13,000 square foot Spa Prunifolia offers an arrays of massages, facials as well as a fitness center, retail boutique and image center. The 10-mile Discovery Bicycle Trail combines sightseeing with an outdoor excursion that puts you up-close to Southern flora and wildlife. Summer at Callaway Gardens is all about customization and choices. Callaway Gardens begins its extensive Pine Mountain, Georgia, summer vacation schedule in May of every year. The Summer Family Adventure at Callaway GardensĀ® is perfect for a Georgia family vacation, Southern summer reunion, or multigenerational getaway because everyone gets to pursue their own interests while having many opportunities to come together as a group to celebrate the season. The Callaway Gardens Summer Family Adventure is designed to allow you to choose from diverse activities that appeal to all interests, ages, and skill levels.
