Andalusia is the home to Flannery O'Connor's, renowned American author. It is at this farm on Hwy 441 North that her creativity thrived.
The Foundation has recently opened portions of undeveloped property to establish the Outdoor Learning Center. Programs, including workshops, lectures and exhibits that explore the natural resources at Andalusia are often hosted. Learn more about their environmental education here: http://andalusiafarm.org/andalusia/environmental_edu.htm. Andalusia also has some recent additions to the Farm - two peahens and a peacock...a staple in O'Connor literature.
Andalusia is now open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am - 4pm and also by appointment. For information call 478-454-4029 or the Convention & Visitor's Bureau at 800-653-1804.
