Renovated in 2002, the 18-hole Lake View is Callaway's original course, designed by J.B. McGovern and Dick Wilson. Cason Callaway himself provided the inspiration for Lake View's layout. Mr. Callaway believed that playing golf should be a pleasant experience in beautiful surroundings. Lake View's challenge lies in its nine water holes. The landscaping of azaleas, dogwoods and seasonal flowers adds to the experience with seasonal beauty. The dramatic renovations to this course include new bunkers, TifEagle greens, new cart paths and improved landscaping. For those who have not played Lake View recently, you'll find the changes quite pleasing.
