Welcome to Rutledge, Georgia! Rutledge has been described as “small and special”. Surrounded by cotton fields, Rutledge's historic district is only 1/2 block square and is virtually unchanged since the heyday of the railroad. Tucked away less than three miles from I-20, the city was founded in 1871 and offers visitors quaint shops, dining and outdoor entertainment all within an easy walk of the town park.
