  • Barnesville Buggy Days celebrates Barnesville's heritage as the Buggy Capital of the South during the late 1800's. Buggy Days is held on the third full weekend in September.
  • Held the last weekend in April, the BBQ & Blues Festival is Georgia's largest sanctioned BBQ cook-off.  Blues bands also play throughout the weekend with a large concert bash on Saturday night.
  • Downtown Barnesville features the Old Jail Museum which has relics from the city's history as Buggy Capital of the South. Located behind the Courthouse.
  • Enjoy the charm of small-town Barnesville with its many Victorian home, quaint shops and picturesque neighborhoods.
