The Juliette Low Birthplace was the FIRST National Historic Landmark in Savannah. Home of Juliette Gordon Low, Founder of the Girl Scouts, this Regency house, constructed 1818-1821,is elegantly restored to 1886, and features original furnishings.

The three historic house museums are Savannah’s preservation pioneers -- The Colonial Dames of America acquired the Andrew Low House in 1927. The Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace was acquired by the Girl Scouts of United States of America in 1953. In 1955 Isaiah Davenport House was saved from demolition thus initiating the founding of the Historic Savannah Foundation.
