Located at Reinhardt University, this is Georgia's Official Frontier and Southeastern Indian Interpretive Center. The Bennett History Museum is focused on interpreting the history of the Southeastern Indians and Appalachian settlers of the region. In this modern facility, there are interactive exhibits, a beautiful 15 minute film, contemporary Native American art and thousands of historic hand tools displayed in a special gallery. Walking trails lead to a native plant garden and to the Appalachian Settlement located behind the museum facility. There you will find 19th century farm buildings and historic log cabins. Visit the themed museum gift for unique items. Picnic tables are available on the grounds.
