The Rock Ranch is a 1250 acre working cattle ranch owned by S. Truett Cathy, founder of Chick-fil-A. The ranch is dedicated to providing wholesome family entertainment in an agricultural setting.

We offer events, by reservation, that include curriculum based educational field trips in the spring, summer and fall, catered corporate events and family days and camping in our Conestoga wagon camp ground. Our public events include Celebrate America in June and Fall Family Fun Days; a series of themed events on Saturdays from September to November. Themed weekends include an arts and crafts festival, bluegrass festival, Christian music concert, hot air balloon rally, and much more.

Attractions at The Rock Ranch include locomotive train rides, hay rides, pony rides, the pumpkin cannon, corn cannons, pig racing, the giant jumping pillow, a corn maze, paddle boats, pedal carts, fishing, a petting zoo, zip lines and more.

While you're here, check out our All-Natural Produce Stand; seasonal fruits and vegetables; and our All-Natural, Grass Fed, Grain-Finished Beef. There’s nothing quite like standing in a garden picking fresh strawberries, or blueberries or even sweet corn. Freshness never tasted so good. And we’ve got it all right here. Different seasons mean different fruits and vegetables so no two trips to the garden are the same. While you’re here, check out our herd of Brangus cattle born and raised right here on the ranch's fertile green pastures. We never use growth hormones or steroids and our All Natural Beef is always antibiotic free. We finish our cattle on locally produced grains, some of which we grow ourselves. For all of this careful consideration, you are the beneficiary! Join the growing number of families that believe our beef is the healthiest and most flavorful they have ever had.

Fun but not as nice as last year

In October of 2010 my grandson and I spend the day at the Rock Ranch and had a great experience. Over the next year I told many how great the Rock Ranch was. Great attitudes from employees, not standing in line for exceptionally long time, how clean every thing was and so on.

My grandson and I enjoyed it so much the year before we went back October 8, 2011 even thaw we had a nice time was not as enjoyable as the year before. About 2 PM my grandson and I went to get a snow cone and ice cream. So on the way over to the store we stopped used the restroom and washed our hands. Both paper towel dispensers where out of towels. All so the sinks and sink area needed attention. I saw a Rock Ranch employee on our way to the store and informed her of the condition of the restroom and need to put some paper towels in the dispensers.

My grandson and I went to get a snow cone and ice cream and the area for getting the syrup for the snow cone could have used some cleaning. So we went out and sat at one of the two tables on the side of the store and the table was out right nasty to the point we could not use it. Thank goodness at least the chairs where clean.

We sat there and finished our snow cone and ice cream. Standing in line to got the two and sitting and enjoying it most have been at least 30 to 45 minutes or more. When we got done of coarse a 6 year old eating a snow cone needs to wash his hands. So we went back to the same restroom and guess what it was still need of some cleaning and paper towels!

So once again on the way out I saw a Rock Ranch employee and told her about the problems in the restroom. I was TOTALLY disturbed that she could not even speak English and understand what I was saying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With all the American citizens needing a job you hire a person that’s citizenship is in question and cannot even understand what I was saying!!!!!!!!

Even thaw many of the employees where very nice many did not give off good vibes like the year before from buying tickets to leaving to go home on the trailer pulled by the tractor back to the parking lot. The lines where ridicules and wait time too long. I quite going other places because after paying to spend more time in line then enjoying our self. I talked to others while at the Rock Ranch today and they had many of the same concerns as I.

I sent them a email about my concerns and have not received the curtsy of a reply
