Although somewhat hard to find( due to lack of signage), once you do, you realize this is a gem. We went on a Monday when it was not crowded. The volunteer tour guide was very friendly and very well informed.
I-20, exit #26 (Mirror Lake/Liberty Road Exit) Heading west on I-20 make a right turn at end of exit ramp; heading east on I-20 make a left turn at end of exit ramp Continue about 3 miles, road will deadend at Highway 61 Turn right and continue to the first road on the right, turn right onto Stockmar Road Continue until you pass the golf course (about 1-2 miles), Gold Museum will be on your left justa after you pass the golf course
