Stone Mountain Park, Georgia's most visited attraction, is a destination that you cannot miss. Located just east of Atlanta on over 3,200 acres of natural beauty, visitors can experience outdoor activities on and around the lake, including: paddle boats, Ride the Ducks, several nature trails and even a train ride around the mountain. For those more adventurous types, one side of the mountain can be hiked all the way to top, or you can ride the Skylift to the top of the mountain and explore the beauty of the area.

Additionally the Stone Mountain Golf Course is sure to please the golfers in the family. Other activities include: Antebellum Plantation & Farmyard, where you can tour several Antebellum homes that have been restored and are fun to tour, The Great Barn, Adventure Golf and much more! During the summer months, there is a beach for swimming, and a nightly laser show, located on the large lawn facing the famous carving on the side of the mountain.

The Lasershow Spectacular has been digitally remastered with new laster lights, musical medleys, graphics, sound and a fireworks display at the end. Plan to bring a picnic lunch, or eat at one of the many eateries around the park.

Camping is a great option for overnight trips to the Park, or you can stay at the Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort, or the Marriott Stone Mountain Inn, all located within the Park grounds.
