The Davis-Edwards House is one of the oldest structures in Walton County. The house was named to reflect the fact that two families - one following the other - lived in the house for almost 125 years.  
 

The neoclassical mansion, former home of Gov. Henry Dickerson McDaniel, contains many period features.

Woodlake Golf Course has tree-lined fairways and medium-sized greens that are undulating and moderate in speed. Water comes into play on four holes. The course plays from 4,814 to 6,445-yards and there are three sets of tees.
