The Savannah Music Festival, Georgia's largest musical arts festival and one of the most distinctive cross-genre festivals in the world, will take place from March 18 - April, 3, 2010. This event was selected as one of the "best events around the world in 2009" by the London Times!

Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2010, and RiverCenter joins the festivities with a brilliantly updated Living Arts’ production featuring a cast of 30, with live orchestra!

Music at the Morris: Christine Crookall and Martin David Jones. Augusta State University professors Christine Crookall, cello, and Martin David Jones, piano, perform favorites from the eighteenth through twenty-first centuries. FREE.  

The ensemble presents works by an international cast of composers: "Bob" by composer Gerald Barry; "Rain Spell" by innovator Toru Takemitsu; John Cage's "Third Construction" for percussion ensemble; "Django" by Steve Mackey for four guitars and marimba; and "Double Sextet" by maverick Steve Reich. 

Crazy for You is the story of Bobby Child whose dream is to dance. And despite the efforts of his mother and soon-to-be-ex-fiancee, Bobby achieves his dream! It's a high energy comedy which includes mistaken identity, dance numbers, and Gershwin music performed by the CSU Philharmonic Orchestra.
