A staple in the Atlanta art community, The Atlanta Dogwood Festival is back for its 80th year April 8-10, 2016! Bringing with it virtually every kind of art imaginable (sculpture, paintings, pottery, photography), and lots and lots of food! There will be food vendors selling delicious festival foods like kettle corn and funnel cakes; regional dishes we love, such as gyros and crab cakes; and deep-fried favorites like onion rings and corn dogs. . . . and lots and lots of barbecue!

Yes, there will be barbecue at The Atlanta Dogwood Festival. Backyard Barbecue & Brews is a popular event and held in a separate tent overlooking the Main Stage. With some of Atlanta’s best names in barbecue — like The Pig & The Pint, Smoke Belly, and Grand Champion BBQ — serving ‘cue, you are guaranteed a great meal.

Backyard Barbecue & Brews also showcases local craft beers, wine and picnic fare from some of Atlanta’s favorite restaurants, culinary hot spots and chefs. So, get ready for some down-home Southern flavor at Backyard Barbecue & Brews on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, April 9-10, from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. during the festival. Although the Dogwood Festival is free, this event requires a ticket and sells out every year, so be sure to buy your tickets early.
