Welcome to Cochran and Bleckley County, where Southern hospitality and charm is our way of life. It will appeal to the young and the young at heart. We are home to Middle Georgia State University's Cochran Campus and offer many local attractions for the entire family.. For more than 10 years, Biking Bleckley has served well to allow our cycling visitors a leisurely tour of our country roads. Dykes Landing offers outdoor enthusiasts the opportunity to camp, canoe and fish. Our Country Fest event, which is held the third weekend in October, brings hundreds to downtown Cochran to enjoy arts and crafts, entertainment, great food and a street dance. We light the streets the first Friday in December with our annual Lighted Christmas Parade which is a sight to see and fun for all ages. With Highway 26 connecting us to Middle Georgia's most traveled Interstates I-16 and I-75, we are closer than you think. Come visit our community and be romanced by our charmed way of life.
