Pelham, Georgia is centrally located between Thomasville and Albany, Ga. Named for Major Pelham of Civil War renown, Pelham has a grand history as a commercial epicenter of the Southwest Georgia agricultural community. Pelham's Wildlife Festival, held on the first Saturday in October, attracts over 12,000 visitors annually. It is also home to the Pelham Jamboree, a "Slice of Summer," Pelham Wildlife Art Auction, and the historical Hand Trading Company building.
