Tiger Drive In Theatre

Open seasonally beginning in March

If you're a fan of the classics, Tiger Drive-In is the place for you! This drive-in in Tiger plays first-run movies, like "Kong," and is also a wonderful event space for private parties. Their motto "A Little Bit of the Old and A Little Bit of the New" extends past movies as the drive-in hosts Hot Rod Night the first Saturday of every month. Admission is $10 for ages 12 and up, ages 4-11 are $5, and children under 3 are free. 

Blackshear City Park Outdoor Movies

Spring and summer

Blackshear Main Street kicks off its spring and summer outdoor movie series on March 10, 2017, with "Finding Dory." Future seasonal dates can be found online. Admission is free, and yummy concessions are available. BYOBC (blankets and chairs)! 

Wilderness Outdoor Movie Theater in Trenton

Weekends April through October

Boasting the world's largest outdoor theatre, you do not want to miss an opportunity to visit Wilderness Outdoor Movie Theater in Trenton. Visitors can watch movies from their vehicle or on the lawn. Admission is $7 for two movie viewings. No outside food or beverage is permitted.

Sweetland Amphitheatre in LaGrange

First Fridays in the summer

Bring your coolers and picnic baskets and enjoy "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," "SING," and "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" the first Fridays of the 2017 summer months. Located in downtown LaGrangeSweetland Amphitheatre is a new Americana-inspired amphitheatre with lots of personality and a great atmosphere. Admission is free.

Flicks on the Bricks in Duluth

First Fridays of the month May to September

Flicks on the Bricks is a fun family event in downtown Duluth at the fountain. The movies shown are family favorites such as "Moana," "Finding Dory," and "Captain America: Civil War." Admission is free, and coolers are welcome. Be sure to use #flicksonthebricks.

Sundown Screen Series in Macon

Spring, summer and fall

The Sundown Screen Series is a unique outdoor film event that rotates between several public parks in Macon-Bibb County. Admission is free. Bring your picnic basket and blanket, and enjoy the movie and weather! 

Movies Under the Stars in Dahlonega

Second Fridays May through September

Movies Under the Stars, hosted in downtown Dahlonega’s Hancock Park, is another family fun summer activity. Admission is free, movies are funny and picnic baskets are encouraged. Dahlonega even has a weather plan, so don't let rain deter you! Summer 2017 movies include two movies filmed in Georgia: "Alvin & the Chipmunks: Road Chip" and "Goosebumps."

Augusta Common

Occasional special events

Westobou, a fall arts festival in Augusta, schedules events throughout the year, including outdoor movies at the Augusta Common. Visit May 19-20, 2017, for Springboard by Westobou, which will show recent family and Academy-award favorites. Pack your picnic or pick something up at the Common and come watch movies under the stars! The event starts at 5 p.m., and the film begins at dark. On Oct. 6-7, 2017, head to the Common for Starlight Cinema at Westobou Central, featuring movies under the stars, live music, food trucks and more! The fun starts at 5 p.m., and films start at dark. 

Olde Town Conyers

2017 Summer Movie Film Series

Bring chairs, blankets, dinner and snacks to the Olde Town Pavilion in Conyers for free family-friendly summer movies on May 13, June 10, July 15 and Aug. 19.

Movies in the Park on Tybee Island

Third Saturdays June through August

Every summer on the third Saturday of June, July and August, Movies in the Park takes place at Memorial Park. Bring a chair and/or a blanket along with your to-go orders from one of Tybee's fabulous restaurants to Memorial Park, and relax while catching a complimentary movie.

Dive In Beach Movies at Lanier Islands

Thursdays May 25 - Aug. 3, 2017

Catch a wave and watch your favorite movie! Every Thursday evening May 25 through Aug. 3, 2017, catch a summer flick on the Spectacular Screen at Big Beach at the Lanier Islands Family Fun Park.

Swan Drive-In Theater in Blue Ridge

Fridays through Sundays

The fabulous Swan Drive-In Theater in Blue Ridge has been in operation since 1955. It shows a variety of family-friendly movies and has the perk of being equipped with FM stereo sound. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 4-11. Be sure to try the Mayor Burger and Deep Fried Oreos from the concession stand!

Starlight Drive-In in Atlanta

This classic art-deco drive-in theatre has been a prominent Atlanta landmark for over 60 years and is open seven days a week. Starlight Six is unique in that it shows the current blockbuster hits along with the classics. Admission is $9 for adults and $1 for children (age 5-9). Be sure to take advantage of the delicious concession stand while you're there!

Jesup Twin Drive-In in Jesup

One of the oldest drive-ins in the state, Jesup Twin Drive-In’s motto is “See the Stars Under the Stars.” This drive-in theater in Jesup has two screens, and gates open at 6 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. showing. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for military, seniors and local law enforcement officers with ID, and $3 for children ages 4–11. There is a $5 vehicle food permit.   

Movies on the Green on Jekyll Island

Movies on the Green is a free event on Jekyll Island that is open to the public, unless located at Summer Waves Night Splash which is a $13.95 admission fee. Movies are throughout the year on different dates and begin at dusk. The movies shown range from recent favorites like "SING" and "Moana" to classics like "The Jungle Book" and "Hocus Pocus."
